So Glad You Are Here.

Welcome to GeriAcademy; I hope you enjoy this free resource. I created GeriAcademy to provide older adults and loved ones with information on aging-related topics. I am grateful to the physicians and specialists who care about the aging process and volunteer their time to contribute to this site.

The study of aging and caring for older adults is my passion. Before medical school, I completed a Master of Science in gerontology. I have training as a family physician with additional training in geriatric medicine and am board certified in both. These opportunities have given me a better understanding of gerontology and geriatrics.

GeriAcademy takes a holistic approach to provide education and general information on aging and aging diseases. I believe that the mind and body global approach to educating older adults and their loved ones will improve overall health and quality of life. Please send me a message on aging topics that you would like covered.
